I'm arguing that there should not be selective high schools for smart kids because how can you really tell if a student is fits in the "smart" category, every student is different. Every student learns differently. Putting "smart kids in there own school it mind give them a fixed mindset because they might think that they don't have to try hard to pass and end up failing.

Quick Write:
I do not think that there should be selective schools for "smart kids" because some kids can put a lot of effort in something and still not make the cut but every body's different. Everybody learns differently, some kids could be smart in one area or one subject in school may not be so smart in another. Kids in school should be able to teach each other and learn from each other to make one another excel so everyone can be one same level.

the best thing ever invented was telephones, I tell this because if the telephone were not invented then people would still be writing letters to communicate with people, another reason I believe this because if they didn't invent telephones then they would have never invented cell phones.

I think we are all born with growth mindsets because when your a baby your mind is like a sponge and you learn more as you get older especially kids you will keep trying to do something until they succeed. when children learn how to crawl and how to sit up even a simple as a smile they have a growth mindset.

Final thought:
I think that teachers can talk to students and really make there student comfortable with them to push them and make them believe that they can do nothing they set there minds to do.
